Search and seizure warrants were executed in the Federal District and across six Brazilian states: Goiás, Maranhão, Paraíba, Rio de Janeiro, and Bahia. The coordinated action aimed to dismantle a criminal organization involved in large-scale financial fraud.
According to the authorities, the criminal network moved and laundered approximately R$11 million. A judicial order has blocked this amount in the bank accounts of those implicated in the scheme.
The individuals under investigation may face charges related to criminal organization and fraud (estelionato). The operation highlights ongoing efforts by Brazilian law enforcement to combat illegal online gambling and associated financial crimes.
