The Feira do Produtor in Parauapebas, southeastern Pará, has been transformed into a vibrant open-air gallery as part of the 6th edition of the Arte em Cores project. The initiative, which runs until May 31, features 30 works by artists from 16 cities across the states of Pará and Maranhão.
The exhibition occupies 300 square meters in one of the city's busiest locations, turning the everyday market space into a cultural destination. The project is designed to be accessible to all, inviting market vendors and visitors to interact with a diverse collection of paintings, prints, and drawings free of charge.
By integrating art into a high-traffic public area, the Arte em Cores project aims to bring creative expression directly to the community, fostering engagement and appreciation for regional artists in an informal, welcoming setting.
