The Spanish coach only makes an exception for midfielder Vitinha, who continues to feature regularly. This approach is designed to prevent physical burnout and keep the squad fresh for crucial Champions League encounters.
The decision to rest these players opens the door for academy graduates to step up. Mounguengue, who made his first-team debut last week in the 2-2 draw with Lorient, could feature again. Other young talents may also be included in the matchday squad as PSG look to balance domestic dominance with European ambitions.
