Brazil's Transport Minister George Santoro announced new features for the CNH app, allowing students to choose instructors and driving schools via geolocation

Brazil's CNH App Adds New Features for Driving StudentsBrazil's Transport Minister, George Santoro, has announced a significant update to the country's official CNH (Carteira Nacional de Habilitação) application. The new functionalities are designed to streamline the process for individuals seeking to obtain their driver's license.

The updated app now allows students to select from a list of licensed instructors and driving schools. These options can be filtered using geolocation, a CEP (postal code), or a specific address, making it easier for users to find convenient and accessible training providers in their area.

A key feature of the update is the flexibility it offers instructors. They can choose to operate as independent professionals or work in affiliation with a driving school. Furthermore, all lessons that are formally registered and completed through the application will generate an official certificate for the student, providing a verified record of their training.

This development aims to modernize and digitize a critical part of the driver licensing process in Brazil, enhancing transparency and convenience for both students and instructors.
