Police in Presidente Epitácio, SP, arrested four suspects aged 18-19 in a drug trafficking operation named 'What Will You Be When You Grow Up' following

A coordinated police operation in the interior of São Paulo state has resulted in the arrest of four young individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking. The action, carried out by the Civil Police on Friday morning, targeted residences in Presidente Epitácio.

The operation was given a pointed name: 'O que você vai ser quando você crescer,' which translates to 'What will you be when you grow up.' Authorities chose this title as a direct reference to the young age of the suspects, who are all between 18 and 19 years old.

The investigation was initiated after police received anonymous tips about the alleged sale of narcotics from four different homes within the city. Acting on this intelligence, the Civil Police conducted a thorough inquiry and subsequently requested temporary arrest warrants and residential search warrants from the judiciary for three of the suspects.

During the execution of these court orders on Friday morning, police successfully apprehended three individuals under temporary arrest. A fourth suspect was also taken into custody after being caught in the act of committing a drug trafficking offense.

The operation led to the seizure of various items related to the alleged criminal activity. Police confiscated quantities of drugs, sums of cash, and multiple cellular phones, which are often considered key evidence in trafficking investigations.

This case highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement in São Paulo's interior regions to combat drug trafficking networks, particularly those that may be recruiting or involving younger members of the community. The operation's name serves as a stark reminder of the consequences facing youth who become entangled in organized crime.
