A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, May 8th, on the BR-352 highway in Minas Gerais. The incident took place in the municipality of Onça de Pitangui, resulting in the death of the rider.
According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle and collided with a metal safety barrier, known as a defensa, located along the roadside. The victim was traveling in the direction of Pará de Minas at the time of the crash.
The rider was alone on the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The death was confirmed by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) personnel who responded to the incident.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased individual. The police investigation is ongoing, with forensic experts conducting their work at the location to determine the precise circumstances that led to the loss of control.
Following the completion of the forensic examination, the victim's body was transported to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) in Pará de Minas for the necessary procedures. The damaged motorcycle was removed from the scene and taken to a designated impound lot.
