The Serviço de Atendimento ao Cidadão (SAC) has announced a special service day dedicated to elderly citizens. On Saturday, May 9th, in the morning, SAC locations will exclusively serve people aged 60 and above to issue the new Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN).
This initiative is part of the 7th edition of Projeto Cidadão 60+, a program offering free services to senior citizens. The service will be available at SAC units in Salvador, the metropolitan region, the interior of Bahia, and via the mobile SAC unit.
Appointments for this exclusive service must be scheduled in advance through the SAC call center. This effort aims to streamline the process for elderly residents to obtain their new national identification cards.
