The Semente do Samba project is marking a significant milestone, celebrating 18 years of preserving and promoting samba tradition. To commemorate this anniversary, the group is launching a new album titled 'Semente Plantada' with a special free concert this Friday, the 8th, in Sorocaba, São Paulo.
The album launch event will showcase 12 previously unreleased songs that pay homage to community samba, reflecting the project's deep roots in this vibrant musical genre. The free concert is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM at the Teatro Municipal Teotônio Vilela, located on Avenida Engenheiro Carlos Reinaldo Mendes in the Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood.
This event not only celebrates the group's rich 18-year history but also offers the community a chance to experience their new musical work firsthand. The Semente do Samba project continues its mission of nurturing and spreading the essence of samba through accessible and engaging performances.
