Discover the Alto Tietê region's vibrant weekend lineup, featuring a football-themed interactive play, major reggae concerts, stand-up comedy, and family-friendly cultural events.

The Alto Tietê region is gearing up for a packed weekend of cultural and entertainment events, offering a diverse mix of music, theater, comedy, and family activities. The programming spans multiple cities, providing residents and visitors with numerous options for leisure and engagement.

A standout theatrical production, 'A Reviravolta do Glorioso Grêmio Recreativo de Pirapora,' presents a unique interactive experience centered on a football team facing a crisis. The story unfolds after the team's star player suffers an injury, sparking a debate over his replacement. The play, staged by 2 Mililitros Companhia Teatral, allows the audience to vote and decide the narrative's conclusion, blending sports drama with participatory theater. It will be performed on Saturday at Sesc Mogi das Cruzes.

Music lovers have a rich selection to choose from. The 'Line Nós no Reggae' event at Clube Vila Santista will host a series of reggae performances over the weekend. The lineup includes local artist Dom Malta, the female trio Filosofia Reggae, the rap group Fissão Nuclear, and the band Filhos da Terra, known for their reggae and Brazilian rhythms. DJ Nandes Castro will provide discotecagem to keep the energy high. Tickets for these shows are available for R$ 33.99.

Comedy fans can catch stand-up comedian Murilo Couto at the Haha House in Mogi das Cruzes. His show, 'Um show sobre casamento,' humorously explores his new life as a married man, sharing personal anecdotes and observations about everyday situations. The performance is scheduled for Friday evening, with tickets starting at R$ 280.

The weekend also features a variety of other cultural attractions. The 'Simplesmente Mulher' spectacle celebrates the 70th birthday of artist Henriette Fraissat with a musical journey through her career. For families, the 'Circo Brincante das Minas' project by Cia Mina de Riso will bring free circus, clowning, and live music performances to neighborhoods across Mogi das Cruzes. Additionally, a free workshop titled 'Mãos que criam' invites mothers and children to create handicrafts together, strengthening family bonds through art.

Other events include a film screening of the documentary 'A Voz de Deus' at the Opereta in Poá, and a street performance called 'Arrastado Ventre no Asfalto' that will traverse the center of Mogi das Cruzes, addressing themes of memory, grief, and violence through urban intervention and artistic reflection.
