Fenachim Festival Cancelled Due to Storm: Reopens FridayThe Festa Nacional do Chimarrão (Fenachim) in Venâncio Aires, Rio Grande do Sul, had its programming interrupted on the night of Thursday, May 7th, due to a strong storm that caused damage to the event's structures.
For safety reasons, the venue at Parque do Chimarrão was evacuated. As a direct result of the storm damage, the scheduled performance by the musical group Chocolate was cancelled.
Organizers have announced that the festival is expected to reopen on Friday, May 8th, starting at 2:00 PM. This will allow time for cleanup and necessary repairs to the affected areas. The Fenachim festival is scheduled to continue its run until May 10th.
