A Mato Grosso state employee was dismissed after being investigated for allegedly forging documents for a fugitive PCC leader, arrested in July 2025.

Brazilian Official Fired for Alleged PCC Identity Forgery SchemeA civil servant in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso has been dismissed from his position following an investigation into his alleged role in a scheme to forge identities for members of the criminal organization Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC).

Wilton Souza de Arruda, a server at Politec (Perícia Oficial e Identificação Técnica) of Mato Grosso, was the target of the 2nd phase of Operation Hydra on Wednesday, the 6th, in the city of Várzea Grande. According to the Civil Police, he allegedly issued false documents for one of the main leaders of the PCC operating outside the São Paulo prison system.

The leader in question is Ricardo Batista Ambrózio, 44 years old, known by the alias 'Perfume'. Ambrózio had been a fugitive for 12 years before his arrest in July 2025.

In a statement, Politec confirmed that the employee was dismissed from his role after the police operation was carried out. The investigation highlights ongoing efforts by Brazilian authorities to dismantle support networks for major criminal factions.
