Festival Fetac em Cena 2026: Free Theater in Rio Branco, May 5-10The Federação de Teatro do Acre (Fetac) is set to host the Festival Fetac em Cena 2026 – Mostra Rio Branco, a week-long celebration of theater taking place from May 5 to 10, 2026. The event will be held at the Teatro Barracão Matias in Rio Branco and will feature a series of free performances and workshops for the public.
The festival's program includes two specialized workshops with limited availability. On May 8, Dani Mirini of Grupo Vivartes will lead a session titled 'A Saia como Território: O Feminino em Gira e a Poética da Cena,' exploring feminine expression within performance. The following day, May 9, Elias Silva from Coletivo Teatro Candeeiro will conduct a workshop on theatrical improvisation. Both workshops are limited to 20 participants each.
This initiative by Fetac aims to make theater accessible to the community of Rio Branco, providing opportunities for both audiences and aspiring performers to engage with the art form at no cost.
