A violent attempted homicide was captured on security cameras in a bar in the center of São Félix do Xingu, in the southern part of Pará state, on Thursday evening. The incident left one man with serious injuries after he was stabbed multiple times.
The footage shows two men engaged in a heated argument that quickly escalated into violence. The aggressor suddenly drew a knife from his waist and launched a brutal attack, striking the victim multiple times. The victim collapsed to the floor after the initial blow, at which point the attacker continued his assault with several more strikes.
Bystanders attempted to intervene in the attack. One woman managed to grab hold of the suspect, but he was able to break free from her grasp and flee the scene before he could be apprehended.
Emergency services from the Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) responded to the scene and provided immediate medical assistance to the injured man. He was subsequently transported to a medical facility for treatment of his severe wounds.
The Polícia Militar launched an intensive search operation in the surrounding area following the attack. Despite their efforts, the perpetrator of the crime remains at large and has not yet been identified or apprehended by authorities.
