Amazonas police arrest teacher in Envira for sexually exploiting her own daughter. Investigation linked to São Paulo's Operation Digital Predator.

A teacher in the interior of Amazonas state has been arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing and exploiting her own daughter. The arrest took place in the municipality of Envira on Friday, following an investigation initiated by the Civil Police of São Paulo.

The woman is also under investigation for the recruitment, distribution, and storage of child sexual exploitation material. During the operation, police executed temporary arrest and search warrants, seizing two cell phones and a notebook as evidence.

The case originated from São Paulo's "Operation Digital Predator," conducted in Andradina. That investigation identified a man allegedly recruiting women to commit sexual crimes against children and adolescents. Evidence found during a search of his home in Castilho, São Paulo, included child pornography.

Further investigative work revealed the participation of other suspects in producing and sharing the illicit content. This led authorities to identify a case of ongoing child abuse occurring in the remote interior of Amazonas state.

The Civil Police's specialized division quickly identified the suspect, who resided in a rural community in Envira. The location presented significant logistical challenges, situated more than three hours by boat from the municipal seat.

Despite these access difficulties, officers successfully reached the community and made the arrest. The suspect was subsequently transported to the Interactive Police Station in Envira and is now in custody awaiting judicial proceedings.

The General Delegate of the Amazonas Civil Police, Bruno Fraga, emphasized the department's commitment to combating crimes against children and adolescents. He noted that while the state presents major logistical hurdles, it does not prevent police action, especially in cases of rape of vulnerable persons.

Fraga highlighted that this particular case caused significant impact due to the severity of the facts, involving a mother abusing her own child. He also mentioned that over 50 abusers had been arrested in the state during the same week.
