Two Teenagers Arrested in Volta Redonda with Drugs: Police Seize Crack, Cocaine, MarijuanaIn a recent police operation in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro, two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were apprehended for drug-related offenses. The Military Police (PM) seized a significant quantity of illicit substances and materials.
The seized items included a bag containing two communication radios, four bottles of loló (a recreational inhalant), 17 rocks of crack cocaine, 19 bags of marijuana, 37 capsules of cocaine, and R$ 40 in cash.
The teenagers were charged with infractions analogous to drug trafficking and association for trafficking, as per Brazilian juvenile justice laws. This incident highlights ongoing concerns about youth involvement in drug trafficking in the region.
