The first seizure occurred on BR-101 in Goianinha, where approximately 100 kilograms of tuna were discovered being transported in a black Montana pickup truck. The driver, a 65-year-old man, did not possess the necessary documentation for transporting the fish.

A second seizure took place in Canguaretama, also on BR-101, involving 150 kilograms of tuna and albacore found in a beige Strada pickup truck. The 32-year-old driver similarly lacked the required documentation.

All confiscated fish products were forwarded to the Brazilian Institute of Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama) for administrative and criminal proceedings.
