Senegalese striker Pape Moussa Fall, on loan from FC Metz to La Louvière, has drawn attention from Lille, Lorient, West Ham, and others after scoring 12 goals. Metz must decide his future.

Senegalese forward Pape Moussa Fall is emerging as one of the most sought-after talents in European football this summer. The 22-year-old, who turns 22 on July 4, has delivered a series of impressive performances while on loan at Belgian club La Louvière, scoring 12 goals in 29 total appearances. His contributions were vital in helping the club secure its place in the Belgian top flight.

Fall's parent club, FC Metz, faces a significant decision regarding his future. The Ligue 2 side is reportedly weighing whether to sell the talented striker or integrate him into their own squad for the upcoming season. Metz had previously attempted to recall him from his loan spell in January but was unsuccessful.

The player's form has not gone unnoticed across the continent. A host of clubs from multiple leagues are monitoring his situation closely. In France, both Lorient and Lille have recently made inquiries about his availability. The interest extends beyond French borders, with English clubs West Ham and Crystal Palace, German sides Stuttgart and Mainz, and Turkish outfit Samsunspor all keeping tabs on the forward.

Belgian giants Club Bruges and Anderlecht are also reportedly interested, which would allow Fall to remain in a league where he has already proven his effectiveness. His current loan club, La Louvière, which operates with the smallest budget in the Belgian Championship, is realistic about its chances of retaining him, acknowledging that he will likely move on this summer regardless of whether he returns to Metz first.

Fall's journey to this point of prominence has been noteworthy. He originally joined FC Metz in the summer of 2024 after a previous stint with RFC Seraing, a satellite club of Metz in the Belgian second division. The product of Senegal's renowned Génération Foot academy was prolific in that second-tier environment, netting 17 goals in 38 matches.

His progress was temporarily halted in January 2025 when he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in training. However, he made a remarkable recovery and returned to form with La Louvière, embarking on a stunning run of eight goals in just over a month between December 2025 and January 2026.

Described internally at La Louvière as a "charming boy who is highly appreciated for his attitude and his contribution on the pitch," Fall combines his towering 2.03-meter frame with a keen eye for goal. As the summer transfer window approaches, opening on June 1 in France, the race to secure his signature appears to be heating up across Europe.
