Federal Police Rejects Banker Daniel Vorcaro's Plea Deal as 'Very Poor'Investigators from Brazil's Federal Police (PF) have assessed that the plea deal proposal submitted by banker Daniel Vorcaro is "very poor" and will require significant adjustments before it can be approved.
The Federal Police has formally requested that Minister André Mendonça, the rapporteur of the case at the Supreme Federal Court (STF), order Vorcaro's return to the Federal Penitentiary in Brasília.
Vorcaro was previously detained before being transferred to the Federal Police Superintendency in Brasília on March 19. He was subsequently moved on March 23 to the same facilities that housed former President Jair Bolsonaro.
The defense attorneys have presented their first collaboration proposal, which now enters a negotiation phase with both the Federal Police and the Attorney General's Office (PGR).
