Former Diadema Official Involved in Multi-Car Crash, Fled SceneA series of traffic accidents occurred in Diadema, Greater São Paulo, involving the car of former city councilman and former Infrastructure and Environment Secretary Wagner Feitosa, known as Vaguinho.
Preliminary information indicates he was driving at high speed with signs of intoxication. The accidents took place on Avenida Fábio Eduardo Ramos Esquivel near Rodovia dos Imigrantes.
According to reports, Feitosa allegedly hit a resident's vehicle and left without providing assistance. He then collided with cars belonging to Maria Vilma Ribeiro, chief of staff of Diadema City Hall, and a municipal secretary of Public Works. A motorcyclist was also reportedly hit during the sequence of collisions.
The accident ended under the Rodovia dos Imigrantes overpass where his vehicle crashed violently into a public lighting pole, knocking down the structure. He fled and was not found by the time of publication.
The fire department was not called to respond to the incident. The case will be reported at the 3rd Police District of Diadema.
