The Curral do Boi Garantido will host a free event at Manaus Sambadrome on Saturday, celebrating Amazonian women with music and a reunion of former 'cunhãs' with current queen Isabelle Nogueira.

The Curral do Boi Garantido is set to host a significant cultural celebration this Saturday, May 9th, at the Sambódromo de Manaus. The event, themed 'A Noite da Cunhã-Poranga do Brasil,' is dedicated to honoring the strength and representation of women from the Amazon region. The festivities are scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM, and organizers have confirmed that entry will be free for all attendees.

A central highlight of the evening will be a special gathering featuring former 'cunhãs'—the title given to the female representatives of the Garantido boi-bumbá group. They will be joined by the current holder of the title, Isabelle Nogueira. The guest list includes notable former representatives such as Verena Ferreira, Tatiane Barros, Raíssa Bandeira, and Alessandra Brasileiro, creating a powerful moment of female solidarity and legacy.

The musical program is packed with regional talent. The night will kick off with performances by Ianayra and P. A. Chaves. Following them, the stage will feature Carlinhos do Boi and Leonardo Castelo, building momentum for the main attractions.

The headline performance will be delivered by the Batucada do Garantido, the group's renowned percussion ensemble. They will be accompanied by a lineup of prominent artists including Israel Paulain, David Assayag, João Paulo Faria, and Márcia Siqueira, promising a vibrant showcase of Amazonian music and culture.

Beyond the music, the event will feature the official presence of the Torcida Oficial Comando Garantido, the group's official fan club, and the Garantido Show performance troupe. Additionally, the evening will serve as the official presentation of the candidates for the 'Morena Bela' beauty contest, adding another layer of celebration to the proceedings.

This event represents a major initiative by the Curral do Boi Garantido to spotlight feminine power and cultural heritage within the Amazonian festival tradition, offering a free and inclusive night of entertainment for the community of Manaus.
