WhatsApp messages reveal tenente-coronel Geraldo Neto, accused of killing his wife PM Gisele, sexually harassed another subordinate for 8 months, asking 'want

WhatsApp messages have surfaced in the case of PM Gisele Alves Santana, revealing a pattern of alleged sexual harassment by the officer accused of her murder. The messages show that tenente-coronel Geraldo Neto, 53, pursued a subordinate, soldado Rariane Generoso, 32, for approximately eight months.

The harassment allegedly began in June 2025 and continued until March 2026, just two weeks after the death of his wife, Gisele. In one message from September 2025, Neto asked Rariane, "Want to date me?" Other messages included explicit advances, such as, "I can't wait to give you a very nice kiss on your delicious mouth."

Soldado Rariane consistently rejected the advances. Her responses were direct: "We will have nothing," "Let's maintain professionalism, please," and "Look, I just ask that you leave me alone." She reported feeling immense pressure and embarrassment, as colleagues began calling her his "mistress," a claim she vehemently denies.

The allegations extend beyond digital messages. Neto allegedly visited Rariane's apartment building with flowers and was captured on security cameras. He reportedly used his official police vehicle for these personal visits, a violation of PM regulations. He also allegedly suggested she take an administrative role closer to him and threatened a transfer after she refused.

The contact continued even after Gisele's death. Neto allegedly sent messages from a different phone, trying to explain that he did not commit the crime. Rariane ignored these attempts. The complaints of sexual and moral harassment, threats, and coercion have been formally presented to the PM's Internal Affairs department (Corregedoria) for investigation.

Tenente-coronel Geraldo Neto is currently imprisoned, accused of murdering his wife, PM Gisele Alves Santana, on February 18, 2026, in their São Paulo apartment. The prosecution alleges he shot her because he did not accept their separation, which she sought after discovering his infidelities. He is charged with femicide and procedural fraud for allegedly staging the scene as a suicide.

Neto's defense maintains that Gisele took her own life and that he is innocent. In addition to the criminal trial, he faces an internal PM procedure and could be dismissed from the force. The Internal Affairs investigation is also examining whether he used his rank to intimidate officers who responded to the scene of his wife's death.
