The 34th UNFP Trophies ceremony shifts to Monday, May 11, and will broadcast free-to-air on Ligue 1+, honoring top players from Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and Arkema Première Ligue.

The French professional football community will gather for the 34th edition of the prestigious UNFP Trophies ceremony. This year's event is set to take place at the historic Palais Brongniart, located in the heart of Paris's 2nd arrondissement. The ceremony will bring together the sport's biggest stars and key figures for an evening of celebration.

A significant change has been made to the event's schedule. Originally planned for Sunday, May 10, the ceremony has been moved to the following day, Monday, May 11. This adjustment was necessary due to the rescheduling of the Championship's multiplex matches to Sunday evening, which created a conflict with the original date.

Fans across France will be able to watch the entire ceremony without a subscription. The event will be broadcast free-to-air on the Ligue 1+ platform, ensuring wide accessibility for supporters of the domestic game. This move allows the football community to come together to celebrate the season's standout performers.

The evening's festivities will commence at 7:45 PM with the traditional red carpet arrival. This segment will showcase the players, coaches, and other guests as they arrive for the main event. The formal award presentations are scheduled to begin at 8:45 PM.

The ceremony will honor excellence across multiple tiers of French football. Awards will be presented to the best players from the top-flight Ligue 1 McDonald's and the second-tier Ligue 2 BKT. Furthermore, the achievements in the women's game will be recognized with trophies for the best players in the Arkema Première Ligue.

This annual gala remains a cornerstone of the French football calendar, providing a formal recognition of individual and collective brilliance throughout the season. The change in date and the free broadcast on Ligue 1+ aim to maximize viewership and engagement with the sport's premier awards night.
