The president of the Betsiti Fight Nights promotion, Kamil Gadzhiev, has disclosed the financial details surrounding a potential high-profile media fight involving former Russian national team striker Artem Dzyuba. In a recent interview, Gadzhiev stated that his organization is prepared to offer a substantial sum to make such an event a reality.

Gadzhiev specifically mentioned a proposed matchup between Dzyuba and the well-known rapper Dzhigan. He confirmed that the promotion is ready to pay 30 million rubles for this particular bout. The promoter expressed uncertainty about whether this figure would be sufficient for the athletes, noting that Dzhigan, a master of sport in kickboxing, might command a higher fee due to his professional reputation.

The discussion highlighted the unique nature of these 'media fights,' which blend sports and entertainment. Gadzhiev reflected on the risk-reward aspect, suggesting that a loss for Dzyuba against a skilled kickboxer like Dzhigan would not be overly damaging to his legacy, whereas the rapper has more at stake professionally. However, he speculated that neither fighter might be interested, as their primary careers likely offer greater financial rewards.

To provide context for the scale of the proposed offer, Gadzhiev shared historical data from Fight Nights. He revealed that the largest purse in the promotion's history was approximately one million US dollars, paid to legendary heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko. Other notable payouts include $350,000 each to fighters Minaev and Izmailov for their respective bouts.

The conversation took place during the filming of the travel show 'Friends of Fortune' in Rostov-on-Don. The topic of celebrity and crossover fights remains a popular subject in the combat sports world, drawing significant public and media interest.

This news comes shortly after another notable media fight under the Fight Nights banner. On April 14, former Russian national team defender Fedor Kudryashov faced rapper Dmitry Gusakov, known as Goody. In that contest, Kudryashov suffered a knockout defeat, demonstrating the unpredictable and entertaining nature of these events.
