ICMBio Opens Selection Processes for Environmental Agents and Brigade Members in Santarém and Belterra

The Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade (ICMBio) has announced two new selection processes for temporary environmental agents and brigade members in the municipalities of Santarém and Belterra, located in western Pará. The initiatives aim to bolster conservation efforts in the region, including work within the Floresta Nacional do Tapajós.

ICMBio Opens Selection Processes for Environmental Agents and Brigade Members in Santarém and BelterraThe Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade (ICMBio) has officially opened two distinct selection processes to recruit temporary environmental agents and brigade members. The opportunities are based in the municipalities of Santarém and Belterra, situated in the western part of the state of Pará, Brazil.

The first edital, focused on the municipality of Belterra, is designed to establish a reserve registry for forest brigade members and squadron chiefs. Successful candidates will be assigned to work within the operational areas of the Floresta Nacional do Tapajós. For this particular process, in-person registrations are scheduled to conclude this Friday, the 8th.

The second edital pertains to the city of Santarém. This selection process offers one immediate position and also creates a reserve registry for personnel to provide support in the management of Conservation Units. Registration for the Santarém process will be open from May 11th to May 15th.

Both selection processes share common requirements. Candidates must have completed basic education. The offered salaries for the positions range between 1 and 2.5 minimum wages, as specified in the official notices.
