Désiré Doué's 82nd-minute winner for PSG against Brest leaves them needing one point from their next match to secure a fifth straight Ligue 1 title.

Paris Saint-Germain edged closer to a fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Brest on Sunday, thanks to a late strike from substitute Désiré Doué. The win moves PSG to 73 points, six clear of second-placed Lens with only two matches remaining. Their superior goal difference means a single point from Wednesday's clash at Lens will mathematically confirm the championship.

Luis Enrique opted for a much-changed lineup, and Brest's resolute defense kept the hosts at bay for much of the match. However, Doué's introduction proved decisive as he fired home from the edge of the box in the 82nd minute to secure PSG's 23rd league win of the campaign. The result puts the Parisians on the brink of yet another domestic crown, continuing their dominance in French football.

In Serie A, AC Milan's Champions League hopes suffered a major blow after a 3-2 home defeat to Atalanta. Goals from Éderson, Davide Zappacosta, and Giacomo Raspadori put the visitors 3-0 ahead before Milan's late rally—Strahinja Pavlovic and a Christopher Nkunku penalty—came too late. The loss allowed Roma to draw level on 67 points with Milan after a dramatic 3-2 win over Parma, where two stoppage-time goals, including a Donyell Malen penalty in the 11th minute of added time, kept their European dreams alive.

Elsewhere in Serie A, Como secured European football for the first time in their history with a 1-0 win at already-relegated Verona, moving within two points of Milan. Cesc Fabregas's side will at least feature in the Conference League next season. Meanwhile, Jamie Vardy scored his first goal since January to help Cremonese beat nine-man Pisa 3-0, boosting their survival hopes.

In the Bundesliga, Union Berlin's Marie-Louise Eta made history as the first female head coach to win a match in one of Europe's top five men's leagues. Her side defeated Mainz 3-1 thanks to late goals from Oliver Burke and Josip Juranovic, lifting Union to 12th place. The relegation battle remains intense, with St Pauli, Heidenheim, and Wolfsburg all level on 26 points after Heidenheim's 3-1 win over Köln. Freiburg, despite two goals from Igor Matanovic, lost 3-2 at Hamburg, leaving the Europa League finalists in a precarious position with one game left.
