Teresina Metro Announces New Travel Schedules Amid Railway Line RemodelingThe Metrô de Teresina has introduced new travel schedules starting Thursday, as confirmed by the Companhia Ferroviária e de Logística do Piauí (CFLP). This change comes as part of ongoing adjustments to accommodate remodeling works on the railway line.
According to the CFLP, metro services will continue to be free for passengers. However, the number of trips was reduced between March 30 and April 30 due to the remodeling works taking place on the section of the railway line between the Piçarra and Frei Serafim stations.
Passengers can now access updated schedules for both directions of travel: from Terminal Itararé to Centro and from Centro to Terminal Itararé. These schedules are effective from Monday to Friday, ensuring commuters have the latest information for their daily travels.
The CFLP has urged passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and to check the updated schedules to avoid any inconvenience. The remodeling works are expected to improve the overall efficiency and safety of the metro service in the long term.
