Russian tennis player Anastasia Zakharova, currently ranked 81st in the world, advanced to the second round of the tournament in Rome after defeating Ukraine's Dayana Yastremska.
During the post-match press conference, Zakharova was asked whether her opponent had surprised her with anything during their encounter. The Russian player offered a straightforward assessment.
"Nothing special has changed about her," Zakharova stated, referring to Yastremska's game.
The victory marks another step in Zakharova's campaign at the clay-court event in the Italian capital.
