Man Arrested in Ingá for Alleged Rape of 2-Year-Old DaughterA man was arrested on Wednesday in the city of Ingá, located in the Agreste region of Paraíba, Brazil, on suspicion of raping his 2-year-old daughter. The arrest was confirmed by the Civil Police.
According to the police report, medical examinations conducted on the child confirmed the occurrence of the crime. Following the evidence, authorities requested a preventive detention order from the Justice system, which was subsequently granted.
The suspect was apprehended at his own residence and taken to the police station in Ingá, where he remains in custody awaiting a custody hearing.
The case has been registered and is under investigation by the local authorities.
