The Public Ministry of the State of Bahia (MP-BA) has initiated a civil public action against the municipality of Conceição do Jacuípe and the Instituto Exittus de Gestão. The lawsuit demands the full refund of registration fees collected from candidates of a cancelled public examination.
According to prosecutor Gabriela Gomes, the total amount collected from the candidates is approximately R$2.47 million. The action states that there is no proof that these funds have been fully returned to the applicants.
The legal move aims to ensure the restitution of the fees paid by individuals who were unable to participate in the exam process due to its cancellation.
