Couple Dies in Motorcycle Crash on PE-149 in Altinho, PernambucoA tragic accident on the PE-149 highway in the rural zone of Altinho, in the Agreste region of Pernambuco, has resulted in the death of a couple. According to the Military Police, the victims, identified as Márcia and Josemar, were riding a motorcycle when they were involved in a collision with two cars.
The impact proved fatal, and the couple did not survive their injuries. The accident occurred near the municipality, and the circumstances are now under investigation by the Civil Police.
Other individuals involved in the crash received assistance. Occupants of one of the cars were aided by bystanders and taken to a private hospital. Another victim was attended to by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) and transported to a hospital unit in Caruaru.
The Military Police confirmed in a statement that the other victims involved in the collision were provided with the necessary aid. The investigation into the exact causes of the accident is ongoing.
