Roraima Governor Announces Over 8 Senior Government ChangesInterim Governor of Roraima, Soldado Sampaio (Republicanos), has announced a significant administrative reorganization, implementing changes in more than eight key positions within the state government's top echelon. The new appointments, covering various secretariats and institutions with secretariat status, were officially announced on Tuesday, the 5th.
This move continues the formation of the secretariat structure that began when Sampaio took office on May 1st. Of the total changes, only three have been published in the Official Gazette of the State so far.
The reorganization affects several critical areas of state administration. Changes were made in positions within the Secretaria de Licitação e Contratação (Selc), the Secretaria de Educação e Desporto (Seed), the Secretaria das Cidades, Desenvolvimento Urbano e Gestão de Convênios (Secidades), the Secretaria Extraordinária de Desenvolvimento Humano e Social (Seedhs), and the Secretaria de Trabalho e Bem-Estar Social (Setrabes).
Additionally, the reshuffle includes the Casa Civil, the Junta Comercial do Estado de Roraima (Jucerr), and the Departamento Estadual de Trânsito (Detran-RR).
According to Governor Soldado Sampaio, the appointments were made following technical criteria with a primary focus on enhancing the efficiency of public management. "These changes are part of an administrative reorganization process," Sampaio stated. "Remember that our focus is always on the continuous operation and improvement of public services, without any harm to the Roraima population."
