DF Governor Replaces Health Institute Head: 'Technical Choice'The Governor of the Federal District (Distrito Federal), Celina Leão (PP), has made a change in the leadership of the Strategic Health Management Institute of the Federal District (Iges-DF). In a statement to TV Globo, the head of the Executive branch characterized the decision as a "technical choice."
The outgoing director, retired delegate Cleber Monteiro Fernandes, had been in the role since February of the previous year. His appointment came after the then-president of the institute, Juracy Cavalcante Lacerda Júnior, was named as the Secretary of Health.
As of the latest update to the report, the name of the new appointee to lead the Iges-DF had not been officially announced.
