The 52nd edition of Expoingá, one of Brazil's major agricultural and cultural fairs, officially opens its gates this Thursday, May 7, 2026. The event will run for 11 days, concluding on May 17, at the Parque Internacional de Exposições Francisco Feio Ribeiro in Maringá, located in the northern region of Paraná state. Organizers anticipate welcoming approximately 600,000 visitors throughout the duration of the fair.

Expoingá offers a diverse program featuring livestock exhibitions, showcases of cutting-edge agricultural technology, educational lectures, a rich gastronomy section, and nightly musical performances. The fairgrounds will open at 10:00 AM on weekdays and at 11:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. General admission tickets are priced at R$ 20, with half-price tickets available for R$ 10. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Shopping Avenida Center in Maringá or directly at the event's box office.

Several groups qualify for discounted or free entry. Children up to 8 years old enter for free, while those aged 9 to 12 are eligible for half-price admission, as are students with valid identification. Seniors between 60 and 64 years old also pay half-price, while those 65 and older enjoy complimentary access. Persons with disabilities, including wheelchair users and individuals with visual, auditory, or other impairments, receive free entry, with their companions paying half-price. Other eligible groups for half-price tickets include teachers, healthcare professionals, election workers, blood donors, cancer patients, and young adults up to 29 years old registered in the CadÚnico social program.

The fair has designated specific days for free admission. On May 11, 12, and 13, the gates will be open to the entire public at no cost. Additionally, during weekdays, entry is free between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. For those driving to the venue, parking is available via Avenida Guaiapó and Rua Haiti. Parking fees are set at R$ 40 for motorcycles, R$ 60 for cars, R$ 80 for pickup trucks, and R$ 100 for vans. Drivers will receive an automatic ticket upon arrival and can pay at self-service kiosks distributed throughout the fairgrounds.

The musical lineup is a major draw, with the arena divided into six sectors: grandstand, VIP, premium open bar, bistros, frontstage lounge, and a café-style camarote. The opening night on May 7 features Maiara e Maraisa and João Gomes. The following nights include Alok and Matuê on May 8, Ana Castela and Countrybeat on May 9, and Matheus & Kauan with Gustavo Mioto on May 10. On May 11, João Neto e Frederico, Brenno, and Matheus perform, with entry requiring a 1kg food donation. The same donation-based entry applies for the May 12 show by Comunidade Colo de Deus and Padre Mário Sartori. The schedule continues with Péricles and Sorriso Maroto on May 14, Daniel on May 15, and concludes with a rodeo event on May 16 and 17. Show tickets are available for purchase online.

Beyond the concerts, visitors can explore the "Fazendinha," a small farm exhibition with various animals, gardens, and a traditional settler's house. Other attractions include a flower pavilion, a family farming fair, and gastronomic workshops. A dedicated area for stingless beekeeping (meliponicultura) will offer honey and propolis products. The food court will feature fixed prices for beverages: water at R$ 5, soft drinks at R$ 8, and beer at R$ 10. Over 40 drinking fountains will provide free water throughout the park. The fair also includes an amusement park, with ride pricing to be announced, and an educational stand from the State University of Maringá (UEM), offering services and activities, including health consultations from the University Hospital of Maringá (HUM). A unique planetarium experience inside the Green Pavilion offers a 17-minute immersive show with 20 daily sessions.
