Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod signs forwards Timur Mukhanov and Kirill Svischev to two-year two-way deals. Both players have experience across KHL, VHL, and MHL levels within the Torpedo system.

The Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod hockey club has officially locked in two of its young offensive talents, announcing new contract agreements with forwards Timur Mukhanov and Kirill Svischev. Both players have signed two-year, two-way contracts with the organization, securing their futures within the Torpedo system.

Kirill Svischev, 20, has been a part of the Torpedo development pipeline for the past three seasons. His journey with the club included his debut in the top-tier Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). During the most recent campaign, the young forward appeared in 30 games for the main Torpedo squad in the KHL, contributing 5 points on 3 goals and 2 assists.

Beyond his KHL duties, Svischev also gained valuable ice time with the organization's other affiliates. He skated in 24 games for Torpedo-Gorky in the Supreme Hockey League (VHL), where he was notably productive, recording 14 points from 5 goals and 9 assists. Additionally, he played 12 matches for Chaika in the Junior Hockey League (MHL), adding 7 more points to his season total.

Timur Mukhanov, also 20 years old, joined the Torpedo setup later in the season, arriving at the end of January. Mukhanov brings a more extensive background of professional experience, having already accumulated 171 career appearances in the KHL prior to his move, with a total of 36 points scored at that level.

Since joining Torpedo, Mukhanov has integrated into the lineup, playing 16 games for the team and scoring two goals. His activity within the system also included a single game for Torpedo-Gorky in the VHL and a more substantial stint with Chaika in the MHL, where he played 11 games and produced an impressive 11 points, split evenly between 4 goals and 7 assists.

The dual signings represent a continued investment in youth and depth by the Nizhny Novgorod club. Two-way contracts allow the players to move between the KHL, VHL, and MHL rosters as needed, providing flexibility for both player development and team management.

Both Mukhanov and Svischev are now set to be part of Torpedo's plans for the next two seasons, offering the organization a blend of emerging KHL experience and proven production in the lower-tier leagues. Based on reporting from Чемпионат.com.
