Brazilian Court Bans Live Music at Campo Grande RestaurantA court in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, has issued a ruling that prohibits a restaurant called Fazenda Churrascada, located in Parque dos Poderes, Campo Grande, from hosting live music shows and events.
The Tribunal de Justiça de Mato Grosso do Sul (TJMS) upheld a lower court's injunction, citing the establishment's lack of event permits, potential noise pollution, and non-compliance with environmental regulations.
As a result of the decision, the restaurant must immediately suspend all live or mechanical music, the use of sound equipment, and any events that involve crowds and noise emission. Furthermore, the establishment is required to begin the environmental licensing process within 30 days.
