Porto Exercise €25M Buy Option for Arsenal Defender KiwiorPorto have officially exercised their purchase option for Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, completing a permanent transfer for the Polish international. The move comes after Kiwior spent a successful loan spell with the Portuguese club.

The 24-year-old center-back has signed a four-year contract with Porto, keeping him at the Estádio do Dragão until 2030. The total transfer fee is reported to be approximately €25 million (around 4 billion Japanese Yen), marking a significant investment by the Portuguese giants.

Kiwior joined Arsenal from Spezia in January 2023 but found regular first-team opportunities limited at the Emirates Stadium. His loan move to Porto provided him with consistent playing time, and his performances evidently convinced the club to make the deal permanent.

The defender, who has earned over 20 caps for Poland, will now focus on establishing himself as a key figure in Porto's defense for the coming seasons. This transfer represents a notable piece of business for both clubs as the summer window progresses.
