A 13-year-old boy was apprehended for drug trafficking in Governador Valadares. His mother expressed deep frustration, questioning the recurring situation.

A 13-year-old minor was apprehended by police in Governador Valadares on Thursday, May 7th, for an infraction analogous to drug trafficking. The incident has drawn attention to the recurring challenges involving youth crime in the region.

During the same police operation, a 15-year-old girl was also taken to the local police station. The circumstances of her involvement were part of the broader police action in the area.

The boy's mother was present at the scene and expressed her profound frustration directly to the police officers. Her words, "Não acredito, de novo? Até quando será isso?" (I don't believe it, again? How long will this go on?), captured the emotional toll of the situation on families.

According to the Military Police (PM), officers were on routine patrol when they observed an individual running and entering a narrow passage. This passage divides the Residencial Olímpio de Freitas from the Serra Lima condominium complex.

The police investigation led them to the location where the minors were found. The materials related to the alleged infringing act were subsequently seized by the authorities as evidence.

This case highlights the ongoing issue of minors being involved in activities linked to drug trafficking, a problem that continues to challenge law enforcement and communities across various Brazilian cities.

The mother's public reaction underscores the personal and familial impact of such incidents, raising questions about prevention, support systems, and the cycle of youth involvement in crime.
