Its primary goals are to raise public awareness about the caatinga ecosystem, combat common stereotypes associated with the region, and promote conservation efforts.
The exhibition was organized by researcher Thaís Barreto Guedes da Costa from Unesp de Rio Claro. It is a collaborative effort involving Instituto Butantan, Guedes Lab, and ICMBio (the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation).
Visitors to the museum can experience the diverse flora and fauna of the caatinga through interactive displays and educational materials, gaining a deeper understanding of this vital Brazilian biome.
