Russian middleweight contender Roman Kopylov and his Brazilian opponent, Marco Tulio, have both successfully passed their official weigh-ins for their upcoming clash at UFC 328. The event is scheduled to take place in Newark, New Jersey, during the night of May 9-10.

At the scale, Kopylov registered a weight of 83.91 kilograms, while Tulio came in slightly heavier at 84.36 kilograms. Both fighters comfortably made the middleweight limit, clearing the final hurdle before their scheduled bout.

Kopylov, 35, brings a professional record of 14 wins and five losses into the octagon. A significant portion of his victories have come by way of finish, with 12 of his 14 wins being stoppages. He has been competing at the professional level since April 2016.

His opponent, Marco Tulio, boasts an equally impressive record of 14 wins against just two defeats. Like Kopylov, Tulio is a finisher, with 11 of his victories coming before the final bell. The Brazilian made his professional debut in 2017.

The successful weigh-in sets the stage for a compelling middleweight matchup between two fighters with proven finishing power. Both athletes have demonstrated a preference for ending fights early, which could lead to an exciting and potentially brief contest inside the octagon.

UFC 328 will be held at the Prudential Center in Newark, offering fans in the New York metropolitan area a night of high-level mixed martial arts action. The Kopylov vs. Tulio bout is part of the undercard, adding depth to a stacked fight night.

With the weigh-in complete and both fighters on weight, all that remains is the fight itself. Fans can expect a clash between two experienced middleweights who have consistently proven their ability to finish opponents.
