Coritiba

Founded in 1909 by a group of young men from Curitiba's high society, Coritiba Foot Ball Club is the oldest football club in the Brazilian state of Paraná. Known as "Coxa" (a nickname derived from a historical mispronunciation of "Coritiba") and "O Glorioso" (The Glorious), the club is a cornerstone of southern Brazilian football.
